One week to go
We are at 39 weeks and although Jayling is in the correct position and moving constantly, she hasn't shown signs that she's ready to show herself to the world quite yet. We are anxiously waiting for her arrival though- the time when our family becomes 3 instead of 2. Her nursery is ready, our hospital bag is packed and her newborn clothes are washed! Mom is here helping us further organize & Stacie's last day at work is this Wednesday. We'll continue to enjoy our Seattle summer in the meantime and keep you updated.

Spending our 38th wk in Suncadia
So we're out in Suncadia this weekend - back to back weekends away from home. So far, I'm still sleeping well and feeling well. It's warm here so we're enjoying the afternoon at the pool. Boy, how much lighter I feel in the pool - sooo nice! Our baby girl must be enjoying it, too! Mom arrived earlier this week so this will be a nice break for her as well :)

SunRiver
So we're down at Sunriver, OR. We drove down here as I've passed the time when I'm allowed to be on flights. We planned our road trip with a night in Portland before we eventually arrived here in Sunriver. That gave us a chance to have a great visit with my wonderful pal, Laura over yummy mango sorbet last night. A must for a pregnant lady after a long drive (even if she's in the passenger seat)! It's always fun to catch up with old pals and a nice chance for her to see me in my 3rd trimester :) You need to see the look on her face - so funny!
Aaron and I then had good thai food for lunch in Portland after a little baby shopping before we headed towards Bend. Luckily, if I go into labor, Bend has a great hospital and Jayling should be able to get good care there. My OB has guessed that I'm going full-term so the odds of us having to use their system is very low but hey, you never know!
Sunriver is very pretty but the weather is sooo hot! We're probably going to the pool after we check out some of the local shops here and decide on where to make reservations for dinner. Little Jayling would love to try any of the wonderful restaurants down here :)
